Welcome to DAYAA’s Softball League! We are a non-profit recreational softball league that serves the Derry Area and surrounding communities. Our mission is to foster the physical and mental development of our youth. We offer a positive atmosphere to help our children perfect the game of softball from ages 6-12! We are dedicated to the teaching of the rules, techniques, and sportsman-like attitudes associated with the sport in our three divisions 8u, 10u & 12u.

Spring 2026 Softball Registration!
- Registration on-line begins January 5th and ends Febuary9th.
- 8u, 10u, 12u
- Open to all of Derry and surrounding communities
- Practice will begin in March 2026
- Games start the week of April 20th. Our regular season will end June 19th. Playoffs will start the follwoing week.
Where: DAYAA softball participates in the HAAA league (www.haaabs.com). This requires traveling to local towns for away games. Our girls play on their “home” field in two locations: “Field B” located at 1 Huston St, Derry and “Latimer Field” located at 2361 PA-981, New Alexandria. This is also where practices will be held.
What you will need: Bat, glove, batting helmet with a face shield, cleats, a face mask for fielding and softball/baseball pants. The league will provide socks and a jersey. We will help with equipment if needed. Please reach out to one of our board members if equipment is an issue.
Payment: Price per player TBA. Please pay online by using the link from our softball website or use the link that will be sent with your confirmation email for credit card payment options. Your child will not be fully registered until payment is received.
***Each family is required to volunteer in the concession stand during the 2025 fall season. Each family is required to submit a volunteer check. This will be returned once you have fulfilled your volunteer requirements. If your requirement is not met the check will be cashed at the end of the spring season***
***We will do fundraisers throughout the 2026 spring season***
