Welcome to DAYAA’s Teeball and Developmental Coach Pitch baseball! We are a non-profit recreational league that serves the Derry Area and surrounding communities. Our mission is to foster the physical and mental development of our youth. Teeball is a sport designed to introduce kids to the basics of learning how to throw, catch, and bat in a fun team atmosphere. Participants get active while learning useful sports skills and making friends. Both Teeball and Developmental Coach Pitch is co-ed program. ~Developmental Coach Pitch is for our 5 & 6 year olds with some prior experience. This is a CO-ED division. At coaches' and parents' discretion a child older than 6 years is eligible to play Developmental Coach Pitch.
** Listening skills are important for any team sport, including teeball. If a younger player (3-5 years old) cannot listen or follow directions, you might want to consider waiting until they are more mature before placing them in what could be a frustrating situation. Better to wait and have a good experience, than rush it and turn them off from baseball.
Where are the games and practices held? We utilize the teeball field at the DAYAA Baseball Complex at 1 Huston Street, Derry. Occasionally we may use Latimer Field in New Alexandria.
What equipment does my child need? Kids should have their own baseball glove, teeball bat and batting helmet. We will ensure all children are able to play regardless of ability to purchase equipment. Jersey and hat will be provided. Baseball pants (gray), socks and belt are not required but encouraged.
Payment: $50 per player. Check, cash or credit card will be accepted.

***There will be MANDATORY fundraisers during the Spring season***
***Each family is required to volunteer in the concession stand during the 2026 spring season. Required number is determined after registration closes. Typical season is 1 or 2 times per family. Each family is required to submit a $175 volunteer check. This will be returned once you have fulfilled your volunteer requirements. If your requirement is not met or you no show/no call your concession time slot, the check will be cashed at the end of the spring season***
Registration open Monday, January 19th - Monday, March 2nd

- Practices will start week of April 13th
- Games start May 2nd and end beginning of June
